Accommodation
Our self-contained two bedroom apartment sits on the ground floor of our family home, with its own entrance and private courtyard. It's more spacious than photos suggest, with room to properly unpack, spread out, and make yourself at home for a few nights or a month or more.
Bedrooms
The first bedroom has two king single beds, which we join together to make a California king, or keep separate on request. It has its own wardrobe.
The second, larger bedroom has a king bed, a king single, and a pull out divan for a fifth bed, making it flexible for bigger families or longer stays. Both bedrooms have their own entrance as well as a connecting door between them, so you can choose how much space to share.
Living and kitchen
The living area has a kitchenette with a bench oven, induction element, microwave, air fryer, toaster, rice cooker, and everything you need for cooking, along with a dining table and a couch. There's also a full sized fridge freezer in the rumpus room right beside the apartment entrance, handy for bigger grocery shops or longer stays. You'll also have your own bathroom with a shower and washing machine, and a separate toilet.
Rumpus room and courtyard
Guests enter the apartment through our kids' rumpus room, a large shared space with a couch, games, toys and books, perfect for children on a rainy day. From there, a door opens onto a fenced courtyard with artificial grass and outdoor seating, a safe space for kids to play outside without parents worrying about the road.
Short stays
With flexible bedding across both rooms, we can accommodate up to six guests for a short stay of two to five nights. It's a great option for a weekend in Wellington with friends or family.
Short stays include breakfast supplies, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a bottle of wine or beer, unlimited Wi-Fi, and parking for one vehicle. Whether you're here for a family visit, a work trip, or just exploring Wellington for a few days, everything's set up so you can settle in the moment you arrive.
Longer stays
We specialise in providing a home away from home for people working in Wellington, families on transfer for a month or more, or those renovating or building a new home and needing somewhere to stay in the meantime. For longer stays, we can reconfigure the bedrooms to suit bigger families, and we provide a port a cot, high chair, and toys and games to make settling in with little ones easier.
For stays of a few weeks or more, we also offer an optional fortnightly cleaning service for an added fee, including a change of linen, helpful for busy guests who would rather enjoy their weekends than spend them cleaning.
